What is Deeper Learning ?

  1. DL is based on a democratic framework in which students are completely free to express their thoughts with respect to the opposing views
  2. Teachers welcome all topics under discussion
  3. Its aim is to doubt ,explore and most of all take nothing for granted
  4. In DL we use videos, pictures ,art, films, TV series ,bibliography and nature
  5. Lessons are focused on the language ,not on exams
  6. The students guide the lesson
  7. Students are encouraged to create presentations, edit videos and get acquainted with the Arts and literature
  8. DL students use English as a means to explore a big question
  9. Lessons are all about new vocabulary in a meaningful context and Grammar is practiced with written assignments not through teaching the rules
  10. DL aims to excite both teachers and learners
